Fundraising Friends Group

At Wyre Forest School, all parents/carers are automatically members of the ‘Fundraising Friends Group’ and are welcome to all general meetings.

We hold a general meeting at the beginning of each term. At this meeting school presents what they would like to fundraise for and how much money is required. Children and/or staff will present to the parents. Parents, who then think they can help with the particular project, volunteer and from this a fundraising lead is established for the project. The fundraising lead serves for a project at a time but can be elected to serve project after project if the group re-elects this person.

  1. School decides what the project will be using school council and teacher input.
  2. The Fundraising Friends Group must communicate with SLT regarding planned events, etc.
  3. All parents/carers should be encouraged to support our school.
