Fundraising Friends Group
At Wyre Forest School, all parents/carers are automatically members of the ‘Fundraising Friends Group’ and are welcome to all general meetings.
We hold a general meeting at the beginning of each term. At this meeting school presents what they would like to fundraise for and how much money is required. Children and/or staff will present to the parents. Parents, who then think they can help with the particular project, volunteer and from this a fundraising lead is established for the project. The fundraising lead serves for a project at a time but can be elected to serve project after project if the group re-elects this person.
- School decides what the project will be using school council and teacher input.
- The Fundraising Friends Group must communicate with SLT regarding planned events, etc.
- All parents/carers should be encouraged to support our school.
