IT and Technical Support Manager
Permanent – full time

Salary PO4 SCP 40 – 43 £45,610 – £49,186

We are seeking to appoint an IT and Technical Support Manager to oversee the IT Network across Wyre Forest School, as well as to manage the use of technology to aid teaching and learning and administrative systems across the school.
This role requires a broad skill set and a passion for making technology work within a SEN school environment.
The post requires the traditional school network manager skill set and ability to manage the underlying network and systems, whilst also having a desire and ability to use these technical skills holistically to help improve the teaching, learning and administrative systems used by staff and students across the school.
There is also a strategic element to the role, working with senior leaders to input into school strategy and representing the technology strategy at school level.
The role is hands-on, working alongside staff and students to support them in and around lessons and all elements of usable technology.
