An exciting opportunity has arisen, to help shape the future within the boarding facility of this fully generic all-age special school. This post is based at the purpose built, boarding provision; “Russell House” situated at Wyre Forest School. This provision will offer mid-weekly, term-time boarding for up to sixteen pupils aged 8-19 Years.

It is expected that candidates will have recent experience within the senior care role in a social care provision that preferably caters for children/young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. Candidates should have a clear understanding of what effective care for children/young people looks like and how to organise care assistant colleagues to ensure that high standards of care are met.

We are seeking an individual who is well-organised, efficient, flexible, friendly, motivated and passionate about providing an excellent support service to our children, staff and visitors.

We are looking to appoint a strong candidate to be a member of our leadership team, providing vision, knowledge and expertise in all aspects of finance and business management.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing budgets, strategic financial planning and reporting to different audiences including the Governing Body. In addition, applicants will need a strong knowledge and understanding of effective systems and processes in relation to management of financial procedures, HR and recruitment, premises and Health and Safety in a school setting.
